Featuring Louisville Slugger’s most popular turn, the C271 has a medium barrel and a standard grip for their most balanced swinging bat in the MLB Prime lineup.  This C271 is constructed from MLB Prime Birch material, offering more flex similar to an ash bat while retaining great hardiness.  To further improve the durability, Louisville Slugger has bone rubbed the birch wood and applied their EXOPRO Finish, which is twice as hard as the previous EXOARMOR Finish.
This MLB Prime C271 Birch bat begins with an all-black flared knob that transitions to smoke-brown at the beginning of the barrel, which will feature a black “LS” decal and other text seamlessly applied underneath the topcoat giving this bat a crisp look.  Lastly, a unique medallion indicating the MLB Prime grade of wood and length of the bat is located on the knob allowing you to swing freely at the plate.
