The shell of the bat will be made entirely of maple material (the most popular wood for building pro-quality baseball bats). However, the inner core will be made with hickory and as we discussed earlier, hickory wood is very durable. In regard to its feel, this bat will be more end-loaded. This is going to be due to its 243 turn model. A 243 bat has a bigger barrel diameter and longer barrel length which then tapers quickly into a thin handle.
